NERIST NEE 2020 Syllabus:-

The NERIST NEE Syllabus is described here for the applicants so that the students can begin the preparation for the examination. It covers all the topics included in the examination. The Syllabus for this exam covers all the topics of class 12th.There are three sections:

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics

NERIST NEE 2020 Pattern:-

NEE-- I: It will have one question paper of 150 marks consisting of three sections and of three hours’ duration.  All questions will be of objective type with multiple-choice answers. For every wrong answer to a question, 25% (¼th) of the marks carried by that question will be deducted. There shall be no deduction for un-attempted question.

Scheme for NEE- I

Pattern of question papers for applicants having Science and Mathematics in their 10th / matriculation qualifying examination and seeking admission to Base Module in Engineering / Technology (Technology stream):    Applicants shall have to attempt all the questions in all the sections. The sections and subject-wise distributions of marks are given below:

Section-A (Physics): 35 marks.

35 questions of 1-mark each.

Section-B (Chemistry):  35 marks.

35 questions of 1-mark each.

Section-C (Mathematics):   80 marks.

30 questions of 1-mark each,
25 questions of 2-marks each.

NEE-II: It will have one question paper of 150 marks and of three hours’ duration. All questions will be of objective type with multiple-choice answers. For every wrong answer to a question, 25% (¼th) of the marks carried by that question will be deducted. There shall be no deduction for un-attempted question.

Scheme for NEE-II

There shall be two different modes of question papers: (i) NEE-II (PCMB) (for both Technology stream and Forestry stream), (ii) NEE-II (Vocational) (for Technology stream only).

(i) NEE-II (PCMB): Pattern of question papers for applicants having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) in their 10+2 PCM/PCB qualifying examination and seeking admission to Diploma Module in Engineering/Technology (Technology stream) or Degree Module in Forestry (Forestry stream), respectively:

The question paper shall consist of four sections viz., Sections A, B, C and D of 150 marks. Applicants seeking admission to Technology stream shall have to attempt sections A, B and C; and those seeking admission to Forestry stream shall have to attempt section A, B and D. Applicants should not attempt all the four sections. They should adhere to the choice of their option (either A,B,C or A,B,D) as per their choice of stream mentioned in their applications.
